The library reserves the right to screen all volunteers for aptitudes, schedule availability and preferences before being placed in available opportunities. Volunteers are placed on best fit and not all prospective volunteers will be accepted.

I understand that my services are being offered on a voluntary basis without anticipation of financial remuneration and hold harmless Geauga County Public Library from and against all claims, demands, loss of liability of any kind or nature with regards to any possible injury incurred during service.

I understand that all adult volunteer assignments require an Ohio Sexual Offender Registry check and also for any volunteer that deliver ABC collections, a Motor Vehicle Record check. Volunteers are not covered by GCPL Bureau of Worker's Compensation or vehicle insurance plans. Background checks not required for minors.
